Mission Prepare students for initial employment as television production operators, television broadcast technicians, camera operators and all other professional paraprofessional technicians video recording engineers and audio recording engineers
Program Description
The program includes, but is not limited to, safe and efficient work practices; human relations, leadership, communication, and employability skills; and preparation to assume the responsibilities for overall production of television studio activities including scriptwriting, set design, lighting, recording and directing, electronic news gathering, and electronic field production.

Unique Requirements
Internship and field production are integral training components. Students must routinely provide (or arrange) for personal transportation to production sites.
Employment Opportunities
Employment opportunities include
TV production technician, camera operator, editor, assistant
director, graphic artist, program coordinator, floor director,
script supervisor, writer for TV or film, producer, director,
and TV sales and marketing. Placement assistance is available.
