Student Organizations
Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) are designed to expand and enrich opportunities for leadership, development, social awareness, civic responsibility and vocational understanding. CTSOs available to Orlando Tech students include:
National Technical Honor Society
This organization recognizes outstanding achievement in the career and technical arena. The mission of this society is to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities for the NTHS membership. Qualification is based upon a 3.5gpa, excellent attendance, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Student Advisory Board
This organization represents the general student population of the technical center. Representatives are elected from each program. The board meets regularly to define the suggestions and concerns brought forth by the student body. SAB activities may include campus improvement, blood drives, student seminars, fund raisers and community service projects.
