ESOL
English for Speakers of Other Languages/ESOL
The ESOL program provides instruction in the language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Daily living skills, including employability skills, are included in the curriculum.
ESOL training includes both individual and group instruction at four basic skill levels: foundation, beginning, intermediate, and advanced. ESOL provides students an opportunity to use computers, audiotapes, videos, and publications to improve communications skills. Students can learn the language skills necessary to enter a technical program, to prepare for the GED program or to fulfill a personal goal.
